How Important Education Is To You

A seemingly easy question.  I think it's very important!  I want to home-school the kids until 6th grade but it doesn't look like that will be an option. Unfortunate really.  So, I will help them in public school.  I want to try and teach them to think as a person and not just take what you're given and just accept it.  I hope that I'm able to provide them with lots of extra hands on learning and seeing the world outside of the neighborhood they're growin up in.  I want to push my children to do well in all things but really embrace the area they are strong in so that they might find a passion that I've never had.  I don't think getting straight A's or going to college will make you do well in life but it will certainly help.  I think it's important to learn responsibility and self-motivation early on and school is the perfect place.

As a student I did fine - mostly A's.  It's always been easy for me to pick up on things pretty quick.    I remember I had a teacher who always made me do my papers OVER and OVER because she said she knew I could do better.  I didn't like her but I did like her.  It became a thing for me, I had to impress her.  I would stay up really late working on book reports, just trying to make every single thing perfect.  Other then reports or writing prompts I never did any of my homework.  I finished going to school when I was 16 because I wanted to travel.  My first travel I went to "visit" New York and I just kinda ended up staying there living in the Bronx.  So, I've never gone to college and I started hair school but didn't finish... I want the kids to do better then that.  I could go back to school and I plan to but until I'm really sure of what I want to do I think it would be a waste of time & money.  Know what I mean?

Your Biggest Regret In Life

I think you can regret something without regretting everything that happened because of it.  So, my biggest regret is marrying Steve.  I am thankful for all the the lessons I've learned but really my life would have been better and I wouldn't be so weird.  I would probably be able to hug a person without feeling awkward about it.
In my head I would have had a man that openly loved me and would have been supportive while I was pregnant and after.  I can still have those things but I wont be pregnant again and all the hurts over the years can't be erased.  I have to work through the intimacy issues I have and re-learn to just be me and not worry that everything I want will be an instant no.

Soon it will all be better.  Look at how much better I already am compared to June 2011.  ^_^

A Book You Could Read Over And Over Again And Never Get Sick Of

I'm pretty sure I've never read any book more then once. I really like the Sookie Stackhouse Series.  I could probably re-read them.

 Another one is probably Lamb

I really enjoy reading but I just don't read something and then pick it up again later to read again.  My attention span is pretty limited... I know I've read The Hidden Staircase several times when I was younger and plenty of Babysitter Club books.  There was one Goosebumps book I loved, was a theme park, but I can't think of it.  Ahhh, I really loved to read when I was younger...

Your Highs and Lows Of This Past Year

 Blehhhh

There were far fewer lows then good so I will knock those out first and then finish on a high note.
The bad for 2011 was of course the crap I've been dealing with during a divorce, trying to work it out and that failing.

The highs for 2011 would have to be:
winning the Urban Challenge

Having so many of my friends and family come see me:
Luke!
Mom & Dad

Brookie!

learning just how fun Angry birds can be with such an awesome person
**even though this picture was taken in 2012**

and not dying. ( haha)

Your Views On Mainstream Music

Well, I listen to top 40 in the car all the time.  I rock out to LMFAO. lol  So I guess my view is that I like it but then again I don't have teenage kids singing about how it's 3 O'clock in the morning and getting laid.  Idk I mean they dress cheap and the lyrics are often lacking but it's fun and I like the beats...

BTW I have a serious girl crush on Nicki Manaj

Write 15 Interesting Facts About Yourself

Oh my heck! This is a hard one.  I have been thinking about this for days and 15 sounds like sooo many.  I will give it my best go and hope it's worth reading. lol

1. I have 8 tattoos and plan on more

2. I'm slightly addicted to chewing gum because I have this oral hygiene/ bad breath obsession

3. I love having my hair and Make up done.

4. My socks almost never match.

5. My name is made of my parents names put together: James Dayne & Joy La Gail created La Dayna Jamail

6. I really prefer staying up late and sleeping in.

7. Quality time is my "love language".  I could go without gifts for a long time if you just spend a little time talking to me or going to do something together.

8.  I really enjoy competing. It's a thrill trying to win something but I'm a good sport.  If I don't win that's okay too :-)

9. I'm way insecure.  Not so much about appearances but within the bounds of personal relationships.  I try very hard not to let it show or talk about it.

10. I have a thing about even numbers.  I like for things to be even.  I count the silverware when I load the dishwasher so I know the bins are equally separated.

11. I laugh when I shouldn't.  If you get hurt I will laugh, if something scares me I will laugh, if I am nervous I start laughing.  I can't help it.  I think it hurts peoples feelings sometimes and I really don't mean to.  I'm not laughing because I think it's funny - it's because that is my "freak out" reaction.

12. I love cuddles, touches and kisses.  shhh But hugging is still a work in progress

13. I love cats  but have a horrible fear of sharks.

14. I don't like my food to touch.  When I get food I always arrange the plate so that things aren't touching.

15. I don't like leftovers.  I usually wont take my leftovers home because I know I wont eat them. I am really weird about germs in food.  The exception to this rule is Pizza - I actually like that leftover.

-- Pardon the interuption --

Going to break into my 30 day Challenge to post something a little more "real".  Crystal and I are once again gearing up for the Urban Challenge and as 2011 Champs we REALLY want to do better this year.  The bottom line is this event helps sick kids get their wishes granted and money makes that possible.  (Make-A-Wish)  The second part to all this is that Crystal and I are an amazing team and we both are extremely driven to win things.

So, if you are a creepy internet stalker I'm gonna help ya out right NOW.  On March 8th starting at 7pm Crystal and I will be having a bar night fundraiser at Piper Down.  We've got two really cool bands that will be playing for us, The Red on Black and The Folka Dots. (they start @9)  We will have raffles, our fanny packs and this year we might get a little crazy and change the color of our tights.  WATCH OUT UTAH!   If you have a heart or ever wanted to get your picture taken with a hot almost sister-wife then here's your chance.  The food at Piper Down is great and the drinks are always perfect.  You will want to come out.  Every penny raised will be given to Make-A-Wish through our Urban Challenge Team.

Still aren't sure? Well, you must be crazy then...  Allow me to tell you a little more about us and make this personal.  Crystal and I came up with our name The Fanny Packin' Sister Wives because we live in Utah and that's funny.  Also, for my 26th birthday Crystal got me a Travelocity gnome, fanny pack and mandarin Chinese pocket dictionary because we want to be the most epic team to ever go on The Amazing Race. (see Above fanny packs)  So for Crystal's birthday I searched out an amazing crabby sequin fanny-pack. While we aren't really sister wives we could be.  There would be no one else I would chose for sure and sometimes Brandon, Crystal's husband, will claim me as his even though I am a Texan.

There will be several teams that you could support when the race starts but why would you want to pick anyone else?  We are best friends, we probably are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet and we're fun.  We are working hard and going far beyond asking for the typical donation.  We want to make this fun for everyone!  Get behind us and cheer on your favorite girls!
