Your Earliest Memory

 

  My very first memory is a good one.  I was probably 2, maybe 3, and I was walking on the beach with my parents and grandparents.  I can remember that my mom was pregnant and my parents were holding hands and the sun must have been going down because it was very orange.  The memories that follow that one are of my mom in the hospital and my dad & I took her flowers while she was being re-hydrated and then of me holding either Luke or Lacy on the couch after they'd come home from the hospital.

  Funny that I can remember things so long ago with such clarity.  I mean they are vivid memories but things that happened just this week I can't remember. 

Somewhere You'd Like To Move Or Visit

Cape Town

  One place I would really like to visit is South Africa. I plan on going for my 30th birthday.  I have always wanted to visit Africa.  I love reading things or watching documentaries on Africa.  I had a psychic tell me that I was African in a past life, like an African tribal person.  Who knows?    I would like to go on a safari, relax at the beach and just try everything!

  Some place I'd like to move... If I wasn't here the only other place I'd want to be is Texas.

I miss "home" pretty bad sometimes.  I'm happy here though and I really would be sad to go.  I've made this my home too.

• Dropped boys at school

• Came home to check on a few things
• Went to pick boys up from school
• Had lunch 
• Put Evelyn to nap
• Goofed around on Facebook
• Steamed my face & facial mask
• Played with kids
• Fixed dinner
• Put kids in bath
• Cleaned up from dinner
• Watched before bed TV & books
• Put kids to bed
• Cleaned living room
• Wrote blog

Now I will get a shower, look at a few things on-line, read my book and go to bed.

Ahh, I would have to say it's playing video games.  I could play games for hours if I had the chance.  I especially like MMORPG's.  I haven't really played anything that I got into as much as EQ but I'll always try a new game out.  I could also sit with a veggie tray and play harvest moon for a really long time.

    Really I wish I had more free time to just play games.  I miss the involvement...  Real life is tough! 

If You Could Have Any Job In The World, What Would It Be?

 I don't really know what I want to be when I grow up because I have no real passion except being with people.  This seems super easy to answer though.  I have a realistic Job and then the one I will most probably never have.  Let me start with the fantasy:  

I would like to be the first woman president.  I always have since I was a really little girl.  That was my big dream. (and being a Olympic figure skater)   I would like to do good things and help people and also be in charge... I like to be in charge.  I enjoy politics and working with people. I think I would be a good president. 

Secondly and the thing I am really more likely to do is become a paramedic. 

Again, I really like to help people.  I don't get grossed out easily and I do extremely well under pressure.  I would love to save a life. This is something I believe I could do well and never get bored with.  When my dad had his burn I thought " I would really like to be a burn Unit nurse"  but then I started thinking there wasn't enough of a thrill in that. This is where I've set my goal.  I would love to start school for this at some point.  I would get everything I wanted, excitement, people, change, and really impacting someones life. 

A Moment You Felt The Most Satisfied With Your Life

I went on Vacation to Mexico with Crystal and some others.  A prize we won from a race.  I'm back now and trying to get in the swing of things. 

  This is a really tough one for me... There are so many moments I can think of that I've just been so happy with life and where it's taken me.  I will just go with the most recent moment. 

It would be easy to talk about the birth of my children or something like that and really those are the moments I am most satisfied with but a friendship is something different.  I carried my children for 9 months before I ever met them and some crazy chemical imbalance keeps me attached and loving them to this day ( I am kidding)    

  I'm most satisfied with the moment of just standing on the beach talking with my best friend.  We worked so hard to get where we were and at the time that we won things were really at a very low point for me and she was my biggest support.  We had so much fun - I'm so glad that we put the work into keeping our friendship going even if one of us (me) has sometimes been guilty of falling off the radar for a minute.  There were several times during our trip and our friendship that I've just been amazed to have found such a wonderful person to be my friend.  There is no one I'd rather build Policia Stations in the sand with!! 

  Right now I am satisfied with life.  I don't love every single thing that is happening in it but I am working towards change and that's all one can do.
